Flitch

Salesforce

Connect Salesforce CRM to build dashboards on accounts, contacts, opportunities, leads, cases, activity, and products.

Read only access to your standard Salesforce CRM objects. No writes back to Salesforce.

Sign in with a user that can see the records you want. Salesforce only returns rows that user has permission to view, so connect with an account that has broad read access if you want full coverage.

Connect

Open Data

In app.flitch.io, open the Data page.

Add Salesforce

Top right, click Add, pick Salesforce.

Sign in with Salesforce

Complete the OAuth popup and approve read-only access to your org.

Pick objects and save

Tick the objects you want. Set a name. Save.

Each object becomes a dataset.

Refresh

Refresh is off by default. Every dashboard load runs a live query against Salesforce. Enable refresh to schedule a background refresh and serve from cache between runs. See Refresh.

Disconnect

  • In Flitch: open the connection from the Data page and delete it. Tokens revoked, cache cleared.
  • In Salesforce: Setup → Connected Apps OAuth Usage, revoke Flitch.

Troubleshooting

Reconnect required. Tokens revoked or expired. Open the connection and click Reconnect.

Missing records. Salesforce only returns rows the signed-in user can view. Reconnect with a user that has broader read access.
