Scopes

Intercom does not use scopes. Access is governed by read permission toggles on the Intercom app (Read conversations, Read users and companies, Read admins, Read tags, Read segments). All toggles are read only. No write or delete permissions.

Connect

Open Data

In app.flitch.io, open the Data page.

Add Intercom

Top right, click Add, pick Intercom.

Sign in with Intercom

Complete the OAuth popup. For an EU or AU hosted workspace, the region is set on the connection. Let us know your region when you connect if you're unsure.

Pick objects and save

Tick the objects you want (Contacts, Companies, Conversations, Admins, Tags, Segments). Set a name. Save.

Each object becomes a dataset.

Refresh

Refresh is off by default. Every dashboard load runs a live query against Intercom. Enable refresh to schedule a background refresh and serve from cache between runs. See Refresh.

Disconnect

  • In Flitch: open the connection from the Data page and delete it. Token revoked, cache cleared.
  • In Intercom: Settings → Integrations → Authorized apps, revoke access for Flitch.

Troubleshooting

Reconnect required. Token revoked. Open the connection and click Reconnect.

Wrong region. EU and AU workspaces read from a regional endpoint. If results are empty, confirm the region set on the connection matches your Intercom workspace.
