Flitch

Asana

Connect Asana to build dashboards on workspaces, users, projects, and your tasks.

Read only access to your Asana workspaces, users, projects, and tasks. No writes back to Asana.

If your account has more than one workspace, Flitch uses your first workspace. Users, Projects, and My Tasks are all scoped to that workspace.

Objects

ObjectFields
WorkspacesThe workspaces on your account, name, type
UsersPeople in your workspace, name, email
ProjectsProjects in your workspace, name, owner, status, timestamps
My TasksTasks assigned to you, name, status, due date, project

My Tasks is assignee-scoped: it returns tasks assigned to you, not every task in the workspace.

Scopes

workspaces:read
users:read
projects:read
tasks:read

No write or delete scopes.

Connect

Open Data

In app.flitch.io, open the Data page.

Add Asana

Top right, click Add, pick Asana.

Sign in with Asana

Complete the OAuth popup and approve read-only access on Asana's consent screen.

Pick objects and save

Tick the objects you want (Workspaces, Users, Projects, My Tasks). Set a name. Save.

Each object becomes a dataset.

Refresh

Refresh is off by default. Every dashboard load runs a live query against Asana. Enable refresh to schedule a background refresh and serve from cache between runs. See Refresh.

Disconnect

  • In Flitch: open the connection from the Data page and delete it. Tokens revoked, cache cleared.
  • In Asana: Settings → Apps, remove Flitch.

Troubleshooting

Reconnect required. Tokens revoked or expired. Open the connection and click Reconnect.

Missing data. Only your first workspace is used. If data you expect is missing, check that it lives in your first workspace.
