Airtable

Connect Airtable to build dashboards on tables from the bases you grant access to.

Read only access to the tables in the Airtable bases you grant. No writes back to Airtable.

On the Airtable consent screen you must grant access to at least one base. If you grant no bases, the table picker comes back empty and there is nothing to import.

Objects

Airtable has no fixed object list. After you sign in, Flitch reads the bases you grant and lists the tables inside them. You pick which tables to import, and each table becomes a dataset.

Because bases and tables are specific to your account, the picker is populated only after you connect and grant access to at least one base.

Scopes

data.records:read
schema.bases:read

No write or delete scopes.

Connect

Open Data

In app.flitch.io, open the Data page.

Add Airtable

Top right, click Add, pick Airtable.

Sign in with Airtable

Complete the OAuth popup. On Airtable's consent screen, grant access to at least one base. You tick exactly which bases Flitch may read.

Pick tables and save

Flitch lists the tables in the bases you granted. Tick the tables you want. Set a name. Save.

Each table becomes a dataset.

Refresh

Refresh is off by default. Every dashboard load runs a live query against Airtable. Enable refresh to schedule a background refresh and serve from cache between runs. See Refresh.

Disconnect

  • In Flitch: open the connection from the Data page and delete it. Tokens revoked, cache cleared.
  • In Airtable: Account → Integrations, revoke Flitch.

Troubleshooting

Empty table picker. No base was granted on the consent screen. Reconnect and grant at least one base.

A base is missing. Only the bases you explicitly grant are visible. To add tables from another base, reconnect and grant that base as well.

Reconnect required. Tokens revoked or expired. Open the connection and click Reconnect.
