Notion
Connect Notion to build dashboards on the databases you share with the Flitch integration.
Read only access to the Notion databases you share with Flitch. No writes back to Notion.
You must share the databases you want with the Flitch integration during consent. Notion integrations only see content that is explicitly shared with them, so anything you don't share will not appear in the picker.
Objects
Notion has no fixed object list. After you sign in, Flitch lists the databases you've shared with the Flitch integration. You pick which databases to import, and each one becomes a dataset. Database properties are flattened into table columns.
Because the databases are specific to your workspace, the picker is populated only after you connect and share at least one database.
Scopes
Notion does not use OAuth scopes. Access is governed by integration capabilities and by which content you share.
Read content
Read user informationFlitch requests read capabilities only. No insert, update, or delete capabilities.
Connect
Open Data
In app.flitch.io, open the Data page.
Add Notion
Top right, click Add, pick Notion.
Sign in with Notion
Complete the OAuth popup. On Notion's consent screen, choose your workspace and share the databases you want Flitch to read.
Pick databases and save
Flitch lists the databases you shared. Tick the ones you want. Set a name. Save.
Each database becomes a dataset.
Refresh
Refresh is off by default. Every dashboard load runs a live query against Notion. Enable refresh to schedule a background refresh and serve from cache between runs. See Refresh.
Disconnect
- In Flitch: open the connection from the Data page and delete it. Tokens revoked, cache cleared.
- In Notion: Settings → Connections, remove Flitch.
Troubleshooting
Empty database picker. Nothing was shared with the Flitch integration during consent. Share the databases you want, then reconnect.
A database is missing. Only shared databases are visible. Share it with the Flitch integration in Notion, then reconnect.
Reconnect required. Tokens revoked or expired. Open the connection and click Reconnect.
