From a URL

Paste a public web page or file URL and Flitch extracts its data into a dataset.

Point Flitch at a public URL. It fetches the page, extracts the tables and structured data it finds, and turns them into a dataset. No connection, no credentials.

Add a URL

Open the form

Go to DataAddFrom a URL.

Paste the URL

Paste a public web page or file URL. Pages behind a login or paywall are not accessible.

Confirm the data

Flitch fetches the URL and previews the structured data it detected. Confirm the table looks right.

Save

The result becomes a dataset.

Refresh

Re-fetch the URL to pull the latest version into your dataset, or schedule a background refresh. See Refresh.

Troubleshooting

No data found. The page had no structured tables Flitch could detect. Try a URL that points more directly at the data, or use a file upload.

Blocked or 403. The site refused the request. Some sites block automated fetches, and the page may not be reachable from Flitch's servers.
