Settings

Per-dashboard settings for identity, data sources, AI context, code, and publishing.

Open the Settings tab from the top bar of any dashboard. Five sub-tabs.

General

Dashboard identity and assets.

  • Name and Description: shown in the sidebar list and the dashboard header.
  • Assets: files rendered inside the dashboard, added during generation or update. Logos, icons, branded images, photos, and embedded or downloadable PDFs. Screenshots and mockups used only as generation context are not stored here.

Publishing

Manage the published version of this dashboard.

  • Publish / unpublish / redeploy: controls the live URL on view.flitch.io/{slug} (for example view.flitch.io/sales-pipeline-4f8c2a17).
  • Access: public, team only, or restricted to specific email addresses.
  • Export: download the dashboard as a static file.

See Publishing for the full flow.

AI Context

Markdown notes the AI reads each time you ask it to update this dashboard. Applied to updates only. Generation ignores it.

Useful for:

  • Describing the dashboard's purpose or audience.
  • Defining dashboard-specific terminology or formulas.
  • Setting style preferences ("always use horizontal bars", "prefer percentages over counts").

For workspace-wide context applied to every dashboard, see Configuration (Settings → Configuration).

Data Sources

Add, remove, or inspect the data sources connected to this dashboard. Preview the data, see the schema, manage refresh.

See Connections, Datasets, and Refresh for the broader data flow.

Code

The full file tree of the generated dashboard, editable directly in a code editor. Available on paid plans.
