AI context
Standing notes the AI reads when it builds a dashboard, and when it answers questions on a published one.
What the AI knows about your workspace. Open from Settings → AI context.
The page holds two separate notes, split by who can read the answer. Writing something into one does not reach the other. Both are plain text or markdown, max 20,000 characters each, and only team admins can change them.
Inside your workspace
Read when the AI builds or updates a dashboard, when it writes insights, and when you ask the data assistant on the Data tab a question. Every one of those answers is seen only by your own team.
- How you work, what you measure, key terms and definitions.
- Goals, audiences, recurring themes.
- House style preferences ("always show percentages over counts", "default to horizontal bars").

On published dashboards
Read on every "Ask AI" answer on your published dashboards. Answers are billed to this space's credits.
Anyone who can open a published dashboard can ask it a question, so this note reaches an outside audience. That is why it is separate: internal goals and working notes belong above, not here.
- What the business does, so an outside reader is not guessing.
- What terms and metrics mean.
- The tone to use, and any topics to avoid.
