Paid plans also unlock faster data refresh, unlimited datasets, direct code editing, scheduled reports, and custom domains on published dashboards. Shared team workspaces are specific to the Team plan. See Publishing and Team.
Credits
AI generation and updates consume credits. Each credit costs $0.10, passed through at cost with no markup.
- New dashboard: roughly 5 to 15 credits depending on prompt size and pages. See Create.
- Update prompt: roughly 1 to 3 credits depending on scope. See Update.
- Questions: Ask mode in a dashboard, the data assistant, and Ask AI on a published dashboard all cost credits, less than an edit of the same size.
- Inline edits and inspector changes: free. See Inspector.
Anything that calls the AI costs credits. Clicking around the app, editing values in the inspector, refreshing data, and viewing published dashboards do not.
Credits come out of the team that owns the work, not the person doing it. A viewer asking a question on someone else's published dashboard spends the owning team's credits, which is why Ask AI is only offered where viewers have to sign in.
Upgrade or change plan
From Settings → Billing & Usage:
- Upgrade moves to a higher plan.
- Manage billing opens Stripe's portal for payment details, invoices, and cancellation.
Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
Invoices
Stripe handles invoicing. Find invoices in Manage billing → Invoices.
