Install the app

Flitch installs from the browser as an app on your phone, with its own icon and no browser bar. There is no store listing and nothing to download: the install is the site itself, so it is always the current version and signs in with the same account.

Android

Open app.flitch.io in Chrome and sign in. A bar at the foot of the page offers Install. Accept and Flitch sits in your app drawer like any other app. Chrome's own menu has the same option under Add to Home screen if the bar has gone.

iPhone

Open app.flitch.io in Safari and sign in. Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Safari never suggests this itself, so a bar on the page spells out the steps. The bar shows in Safari only; other browsers on iPhone keep the option in their own menus.

Inside the installed app

• Opening a published dashboard, report or app from the Library shows it full screen, with a Back bar at the top to return. This is also how it works on iPhone, which has no back gesture in an installed app.
• Signing out returns you to the sign-in screen rather than the Flitch website.
• Choose Not now on the install bar and it stays away on that device.
